We
can't say that this century people still live the same as before
because now our world has already developed into a new world. It's a
world of technology.People are living with technology.Everything
surrounding us keeps developing to more convienient, smaller, and
fashionable. For example from a big radio we develop to a small mp4.It's
not only because humans change the world but it's also because of
inventions that are found and created by humans.Every invention is
important for our lives. In my opinion the important invention ever is
electric because most inventions can't be use or invented without
electric and most people live with electric.
Firstly, most of
the things that we use in ordinary life need electric. For example light
bulbs, radios, mp4 players,machines,computers,televisions,and so
on.They can't be used without electric;Light bulbs are not going to
give us a light without electric.Mp4s also can't be us without
charging.Even money is still make by machines that need electric. So it
hard to say that electric is not the most important invention because
even the amazing inventions such as telephone, the invention that even
if you stay very far from your family you still can connect with
them.It still needs electric.
Secondly people live with
electric. No one can stay in the dark house without lights, fans, or the
things that make your life fun, such as computers. In an ordinary life
day we use many amazing things such as mp4s, ipods, televisions, light
bulbs, or computers but we don't think it's amazing because we don't
think about it.We just use and when it's broken we just put it in the
bin.As what I have said people are born and live with electric so they
aren't amazed with these things but we're going to invent something
then we going to know that electric is very important for us because
you can't stay without fans or air conditioning.
On the other
hand, electric takes people away from nature.People stay in the house or
in internet cafes just to play on the internet on their holidays. They
do not usually go outside for camping, adventure, or new
experiences. Some say that they will get dark, some say that the internet
prepares everything for them such as adventure games or searching for
information on the websites. So in my opinion, electric makes people want
their privacy more. Also people should earn lots of money to pay for
electric bills because we have lots things that need electric so we
also need lots of money to pay for the electric.
In conclusion,
every invention helps us for convenient and better living.Electric is
the most amazing invention that has ever been seen and used.I have to
say that the city couldn't develop without electric and we also
couldn't live without electric, but electric changes from the natural
world to a technology world. The world that needs lots of development to
make it more stronger and better but the natural world only needs the
words love, care and people to take care of it.It's a world that's
fresh and simple.Every person is not same at all so their living styles
are not the same. So, just choose between simple living style or
modern,cool,and competing style.

Do you believe that our lives are changing because of TV? Most children
like to watch TV more than studying. Most parents argue with their
children because of TV.There are negative effects from the TV, but TV
is not all bad.I think it depends on the programme because some
programmes improve children knowledge and some are violent.
To
begin with I think it depends on the programme because the good thing
about television is that it improves children 's knowledge. For example
discovery channel improves their knowledge while they are watching.
They can know how wild animals and humans are not the same, how our
body's systems work. The knowledge not only comes from the classroom, it
also comes from things such as TV.Moreover it also develops their
thinking.By watching news they can know how people each day are living,
how to accept, and understand on it.
In second place, it depends
on the programme because some TV show are violent. Most children like to
watch action or cartoon and they follow what movies tell them or what
they see in movies.Another effect is that children have no more time
for other activities , children like to stay in front of TV more than
going outside for their experience because the TV already bring
everything into their home.Another thing that TV brings for them is
obesity because when we watch movies we need some sweets toeat while
they are watching.Watch TV no exercise, no studying, not doiong
homework, and obesity are all negative.
Finally, I think the
effects that come from TV because while we watch discovery it's also a
hunters killing animals or lions killing small animals. Also in the news
people are show dead by jumping from 50th floor to the ground. Therefore
the best way is their should direct the time and stay with them while
they are watching. The parents can tell them what they should follow and
shouldn't follow.
In conclusion, TV is not bad at all but we
should know how to use it in correct way to control ourselves, and
direct our time so it depends on how we choose the programmes and how
we find knowledge from it.Moreover, parents should also know how to
teach their children the correct way and children also should know what
is correct and what is wrong.Everything has cause and effect but it
depends on how we fix problems.

I think today most
children need to be more responsible because there is lots of
competition in families and parents expect on too much.Another reason
I think children need more responsibility is because before children
were respectful and made their parents proud.
Firstly before
students were respectful. The way they wore their cloths was tidy and
clean. Before manners and behavior were very important. When they saw
elders they would wai, when they were going to eat they would wait for
the elder to eat first, and when they ate, they would eat their meal
quietly.
Secondly, before there was lots of competition in a
family because they wanted the gift or treasure from their parents or
their grandparents so they would do anything to make their parents
proud of them. They would study hard and get good scores and a good job
to make their parents believe that they can take care of their own
life, their treasure, and family
Before was like that but today
is not like that anymore. The children have changed in a bad way. Now,
they skip class just to go out with their friends and most children
spend more time on the computer than family. They know how to steal and
lie, than how to study in a school.
In conclusion,children can
be good or bad it depend on how their parents teach or take care of
them. Also what kind of friends they are with.
At which point of your life would you like to travel? Rasita Khampha G8

Many
people wanted to travel around the world, but some people have
responsibilities, like maybe they have to take care or look after their
family. Some of us would decide t work at the office or other places.
I
would like to travel to Egypt after my university. But I would not
staying there for long, maybe just 2 weeks, because I want to know more
about Egypt and its history, because I really liked Egypt histories,
and it is very interesting. I would also like to study the life of the
people there, such as their cultures and festivals.
Also,
I would like to go to other countries also, I think that they have a
lot of interesting places to go and see around the world. I might be
working after a few trips, because if I don’t work, I would not have
enough money to go to more countries. I would really enjoy seeing the
world and learning new things.
But
in the other hand, it is good also to stay at the same country because
there are a lot of places also, that we haven’t been there before. And
some people they have to work in order to earn money, and to take care
of the family.
To
me, travelling is an adventure that you shouldn’t miss. Travelling to
other countries can teach you a lot of things. For an example, you can
learn cultures of other countries; I think it is very interesting to
learn new things through travelling.
There is nothing that young people can teach older people Rasita Khampha G8
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 21:29:32
In
my opinion, there are a lot of things that young people can teach older
people, such as Internet technology, because everything had changed
from the old days. I don’t agree that there is nothing that young
people can teach older people, young people can learn from older
people, especially traditional things. Older people also learn from
younger people also.
Firstly,
I think that there are a lot of things that younger people can teach to
older people, because when they got older, they can’t remember things
well. Or maybe sometimes they did not study what we are studying now
when they were young. For example, internet technologies these days,
the internet these days are better than older days.
Secondly,
an older person knows mostly traditional things. They would not know
how to use new inventions that we have today, they maybe forget what
they have study also, so if we remind them again, they may remember.
Younger people can teach older people to be happy, so they would not be
sad, then they will be with us longer.
In
the other hand, older people can teach a lot to younger people also,
because they know more about traditional things, so they could teach
us, because we don’t know much of the old traditions. This will be very
helpful to younger people.
I
think that older people and younger people can learn from each other,
because these days, there are new inventions, and we should know about
old days traditions.

Watching
T.V. has both bad and good parts and reasons. It’s good for children in
some way and bad for children in some ways. You can learn from it, but
most of the time it shows bad programs for children.
I
agree that watching T.V. is bad for children because it often shows bad
for children and it also shows dangerous things that people do and
children will copy and hurt themselves.
And
most of the time it shows stupid programs and sometimes they show
killing movies and the worst part of it is that children copy what they
show in the movies and it not affecting only the child but affects also
the other peoples that involves.
Even
though watching T.V. is bad for children they also have some good
reasons like they sometimes show good programs for kids and they can
learn from it they would know what’s happening in the world like
discovery channels, etc. but watching too much T.V. is not good because
they would be glued to the T.V. watching programs that does not help
them. But if the parents make limits to their time for watching T.V. a
little bit less it would help them more than before.

Many
people have many places they want to go, many people have different
reasons why they want to go, and some wants to go for sightseeing.
There
are a few places I want to go, I plan to go to Canada after I have
enough money and I finish university. I will go to Canada because I
will visit my sister in Canada; she is already married and has 2
children. She’s a horse riding teacher and I would let her teach me how
to ride horses - how to sit on it and how to control a horse.
Also
I want to go sightseeing in Canada, see interesting places and amazing
thing and i never been there before so I might ask my sister or my dad
for advices on where to go and where is exciting and nice to see in
Canada.
On
the other hand I also want to go to America I want to go sightseeing to
the Niagara Falls and I also want to go to New York to see the statue
of liberty.
But
by the time I have but by the time I have enough money I might change
my mind to go to other places , or maybe I will be staying in Thailand
and don’t go to other countries.
There is nothing that young people can teach older peopleLalita Khampha G8
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 21:28:06
It
is possible that young people can teach older peoples. Their brain is
old and not used to new technologies. They sometimes they sometimes do
traditional things that we don’t do it now, but we can teach them about
new things.
I
disagree that young people cannot teach older people; we can teach them
about new technologies like how to use things that they didn’t know.
For example, if they didn’t know how to use the remote controls maybe
they cannot understand it because they can’t read English or they don’t
know the words that are shrunken, for example, ‘subtitle’ they would
write it as “sub” we can also teach them how to drive cars and how to
work with the computers.
We
can also teach them about languages that they don’t know and it may be
useful to them. They may travel to other countries and when they go
they can talk to other peoples there.
But
there are some things that we cannot teach them, like traditions. We
can’t teach them about old stuffs. If they don’t usually let their
children go out after six in the evenings we can’t tell them to change
their minds and e cannot teach them about old ways that they usually
dance because they would have more information on those ones.
But
in teaching them you need to think first what you will teach them
about. You should know what they need or want to know but somehow they
still believe in old tings that they know and quite easily forget what
we teach them, so it makes it hard to teach them.
Do you prefer to eat at restaurants of food stands?Lalita Khampha G8
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 21:27:43
There
are many places that we can find foods such as food stands and
restaurants. Restaurants we can find them nearby food stands. Many
people like different styles f places. Some like to eat at restaurants
because it’s cool and some likes to eat in restaurants because it’s
cheap.
I
prefer to eat in restaurants because now the weather is very hot and
inside the restaurants is cool because of the Air conditioner and it’s
more comfortable and I can bring my works to do there. I can also order
desserts like ice cream, it’s not so cheap but it has better food than
in food stands.
What
I like about restaurant more than food stands is that the food is
cleaner and healthier. The place is cleaner, more hygienic; it has
toilets and sinks so that you can wash your hands before you eat. Even
though the food is quit slow, it’s high quality foods.
Food
stands are also good another ways. It’s good because it’s fast and it’s
delicious and I can specify what I want. It’s cheaper even though it’s
not that high of a quality like in restaurants, it’s also good somehow.
Even
though restaurants now that the business is not so good. The suggestion
of eating at food stands is a better choice, because the foods are
cheap but you have to be careful choosing things because we don’t know
how long has the food been outside the pollutions.

His
book is a story about a man who became invisible because of a science
experiment. His friend Kemp and Griffin told him about a student in a
college who did an experiment and disappeared in
the science lab. He was on the run, on that night the thought of what
his friend told him. He did the experiment and became invisible that
night. He was all wrap up in a white cloth like a mummy and the police
was hunting for him. Would he be able to escape? Could the police
capture him?
In
the story I don’t want to change anything in the story but for me I
think that it’s boring but I think that people who like solving
mysteries would like this book.

This
book is a story about a woman named Anna who lives with her husband,
Karenin and her son Sasha in Moscow. Her brother Stevenson, lived in
the country with his wife Dolly and their having a little problem,
Stevenson is having mistresses but Dolly doesn’t want him to, at first
she decides to go live with her mother and their children , but Anna
talks to her and they lives go on the same way as it was before. The
night later at the ball Vronsky, a young soldier and Anna fell in love
with each other. When Anna went back to back to Moscow they quickly
became lovers but they run into very many problems. If Anna and her
husband divorce what would happen to Sasha? Will she get divorce, who
will she choose? What will she choose? Dead or alive?
I
really cannot really relate to any of the characters in the story
because I am not that old and I never had any experience like Ana
before.
I
like this book because it’s really fun and interesting, my favorite
past was when Vronsky and Anna begin to be lovers because they did not
run into the much trouble. He part that I don’t like is Anna's tragic end, because it’s not fun and it’s a very sad story.
If I could change the book I would not let Anna do what she does, I would let her go to the country and live there happily.
I would like to recommend this book to people who have problems about husbands or boyfriend having mistresses.
The most important aspect of a job is the money a person earnsOmnichar Jiratkkarune G9
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 14:27:50
I think the
money a person earns is important in our lives, but it's not the most important
thing. The job that we choose doesn't always depend on the money but it depends
on.Our love for that job and happiness.
Firstly,jobs are very
important for our lives. We have to do it every day so we have to choose the job
that is suitable to us.And the job that is suitable to us.And the job that you
do should give you happiness to do it not bore you.
Secondly,if your job give
you happiness but less money. It is better than getting money but less
happiness.Because if you grt less money but it supports your expenses every day
I think it's ok.
Thirdly,if your job forces
you too much you will unlike it.For excample like office workers. They have to
arrive at their office 8:30 AM,eat lunch at 12:00AM go back home at 5:00PM.If
it is your routine everyday you will be very bored and stressed eventhough you
get so much money.
Fourthly,if the job gives
you much money but it is not your style. You can't give many ideas. For excample
I hate maths,if I would be a maths teacher it would be very difficault for me
to teach.Or to work about numbers as an accountaunt,I will be unsuccesful and
feel so bad.
In conclusion if you get so
much money from your jobs but no happiness in your life you will never be
happy.

I think boys
and girls sometimes should have a seperate schools, but sometimes not.Because
boys and girls need to help each other with many things.
Firstly,I agree that boys
and girls should have a seperate schools because if the schools have only girls
the schools will be tidy and less problems for example, punching each
other.Saint Joseph's school is schools very quiet because it has only
girls, different from bangkok christian college that has only boys.Another thing
is schools would be easier when they have activities like sports day.The
schools will not have to think that girls can't do or boys can't do.And the
last one is prevent them from boy and girls relationship.
Secondly,I disagree that
boys and girls should have seperate schools.Because boys and girls need to help
each other. For excample art work if only girls do it,it will be too much
details and if only boys do it ,it will be too rough. So if girls and boys help
each other it will be great work.Another problem is if boys and girls have a
seperate schools.Boys and girls will not understand each other and it will be
problem when you grow up.You will not understand your colleaguesor your
girlsfriends or boyfriends. And you will think that if boys and girls are
friends will be.Strange and difficult. And if the girls schools have only girls
sometimes they will be a lesbian and sometimes if boys schools have only boys
they will be gays
in conclusion,Ithink whether
we attend separarted or combined schools it is good for us.
Book review: 2001: A Space Odyssey Author; Arthur C. ClarkeTae Yong Kim G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 14:26:27
What do you expect to happen in the future? Could
you have expected that we can travel beyond Earth in the 1940s? A Space
Odyssey, this book is a journey beyond man. Our technology has developed a lot
over hundreds of years. Technological development won’t stop; it’ll
develop beyond super-technology and we’ll probably be able to live on other
planet.
The story starts from ten million
years ago, when man-apes existed. I was dissatisfied at first but I felt a
little pleasure to read when the stupid man-apes started being man. As what the
author described, man-apes were unbelievably stupid; they were afraid to attack
animals, so simply, they were at the lowest level of the food chain at that
time. Moon-Watcher, the first fairly intelligent man-ape who discovered how to
use stones to attack. At that time, pigs and man-apes had always ignored each
other, because they didn’t compete for the same food. One day,
Moon-Watcher stood looking at them; he searched the ground and found a heavy,
pointed stone and walked to a pig. It felt no fear until much too late. It went
on looking for food in the grass until Moon-Watcher‘s hammer ended
its life. This was the first step of being man.
Now, the story jumps to 21st
century. Technology has developed unbelievably compared to man-ape age. In the
21st century, man is already working on research of other planets
that can support life. Man is now able to live on the Moon. A man, Dr. Heywood
Floyd, plans to look for another planet that can support life and finds TMA-1
(Tycho Magnetic Anomaly-One), a big magnetic rock in solar system which he
thinks can possibly support life. So he quickly started working on his plan. A
few discovery members were gathered. In a ship called ‘Discovery’,
there are David Bowman, Frank Poole and Hal 9000, the brain and the nervous
system of the ship. They pass Mars and Jupiter and continue their journey to
TMA-1. one day a problem occurs to Hal because he is a robot, so it is obvious
that Hal can occur some problem. It’s then Poole
went outside the ship to fix the antenna. Hal accidentally sent out a small
vehicle and sat it into Poole at full speed;
Frank Poole dies even though they were almost got to him. Bowman disconnects
Hal and kills him. Bowman notices that TMA-1 is Saturn and when he reaches
Saturn, he sees something odd. unlike Earth, Saturn gas a different sky and it’s
all dark. Soon, he feels loneliness and misses home, however, he can’t
go back because it’s impossible to travel back over fourteen
million kilometers distance. So he stays as confident as he can, recognizing
his memories and ides peacefully, silently, and lonely. As one David Bowman
dies, another would continue to live and as what all intelligence did, he’ll
continue to think of the future, for better future.
My favorite character
is Hal 9000 because the way he speaks to Bowman is funny. Robots have no heart,
so when he tried to calm Bowman, it was all meaningless and even made Bowman
more angry. I can relate to Moon-Watcher because I like to try new things! My
favorite part is when Moon-Watcher hammers the pig and ended its life. It was a
silly and funny start to our technology. I don’t know why- but I really like silly
parts. Lastly, I didn’t like David Bowman, because of his short
temper, he regrets everything in the end. To conclude, I really appreciate the
author’s imagination because it’s almost impossible to imagine such a
great discovery of man in his century. Arthur C. Clarke, the author of this
book, is one of the most creative writers for me. These things seems to happen
soon, I’d like to recommend this book to people who are curious about
future!
If tomorrow morning you wake up in the body of an insect, are you still you? .. who are you?Tae Yong Kim G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 14:25:51
Who are you? Who am I? this short
and simple question must be the most difficult question among all the questions
that exist. The answer to this question is not specified. Although when I
introduce myself, which is telling who am I, I say I’m Tae Yong Kim,
I’m
from Korea
and so on. But who is Tae Yong Kim? Names are not suitable for the answer to
this questions, because not only humans have names; animals, pants, and
everything on Earth have their own names.
If tomorrow morning I wake up in the body of a
cockroach, am I still me? Well, this is odd. I would be devastated with my new
body because I wouldn’t have expected this happen and also I
would be sad because I wouldn’t have achieved anything as a human
before, and of course I’ll naturally lose all my friends and my
family. I’ll turn over a new leaf with my soul and the body of cockroach.
Who am I? Am I still Tae Yong Kim? The answer would be yes because it’s
not only me who the has name Tae Yong Kim on Earth, so it’s
possible for a cockroach to have the same name even though it’s
disgusting.
Furthermore, Tae Yong Kim the
cockroach with the body of cockroach, 6ft high and with an enormous sized body
will certainly be disgusting and frightening. Therefore, among all the cockroaches
on Earth, I’ll become the king of cockroach! From what I believe,
cockroaches are the most disgusting and worst insects on Earth, but at the same
time, they are an almost almighty insect because they can swim, fly, and revive
on Earth after all like forms die. I would enjoy my new body with indeed life!
However, I won’t
be happy to live as cockroach forever. I’ll miss my human body and that time will
be the time that I’ll regret everything. I’ll
understand that the human body is the most valuable body whether it’s
fat or not, as long as I have a human body, I will be grateful.
In conclusion, I’ve really learned and understood the
importance of being human. I won’t commit suicide or commit any crimes so
that it will be possible for me to live as human in my next life, although my
name, nationality and my abilities are worthless. I’ll still be Tae
Yong Kim as long as I still have my soul with any body for this life!
Living in a country with high taxes may benefit the majority, but it is an unfair penalty on successful businessman who have to give away most of their salaries in taxes.Tae Yong Kim G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 14:25:27
Our world is in a difficult situation. Our
technology is developing while global issues and economies are getting worse. Some
people have become unemployed because of the economy. Economic problems such as
fluctuation of currency, increase of inflation rates and taxes leads to failure
of our lives. Socialism and neoliberalism are becoming communist and capitalist
because of the money. Because of this, taxes have increased. Successful
businessman are required to pay more while normal businessman pay less and have
no benefits.
Business downturn, recession, stagnation, and
depression have made economy worse, as well as us. These problems have made
taxes soar. Therefore we have to pay more to the government. What does the
government do then? Unsurprisingly, they keep some of our taxes and make
weapons, simply we are feeding them. They eat, buy, make themselves rich with
our money. Do they provide good education or health care? Neither of them are
well provided. We even have a world for the capitalists, ingrates.
Students study and become
businessmen. Some businessmen studied hard when they were students and succeed
while other students who didn’t study as hard as successful businessmen
become normal businessmen. Of course, successful businessmen will get higher
salaries compared to the normal businessmen. But do they pay the same tax? Well,
the answer is no. why? Successful businessmen, then why are they not paying the
same tax? It’s because the government requires them to pay the same
percentage of money. Therefore, the higher salary they get, the more taxes will
be required.
In contrast, some successful
businessmen should pay more because some of their salaries aren’t
all earned by themselves. They may cheat or illegally have a business like drug
business. Then how can we identify those people who are really successful of
illegally successful? So that’s the reason why successful businessmen
have to pay more and they’re certainly guiltless.
To sum up, it is an unfair penalty on
successful businessmen, although, if I’m a successful businessmen, I would complain
about it. But how? Who should I complain to? My boss? Government? There will be
no change even if I complain to them. So that’s it, it’s unfair, so I’d recommend you
to work in a country with low taxes. That’s the best way I think.
One should not judge a person by external appearancesTae Yong Kim G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 14:24:46
It is undoubtedly the case that one judges a person by
external appearances. How would you feel if you were judged by your external? Of
course you’d feel bad about it. So you might vex people by judging their
external appearances. Many people show a blithe disregard for this problem.
Few would dispute the fact that judging a person by external
appearances is insolent manners. People aren’t always perfect and no one is perfect. Furthermore,
external appearances aren’t important compared to what’s
inside. Normally, people who flaunt their beauty judge others’
external appearances. In fact, those who are judged by those flaunting people
have pure minds! You may know the importance of internal and external appearances
although I don’t explain.
Moreover, judging people by
appearances leads to bullying. These people think that outcasts aren’t
equal to them based on external appearances. This problem mainly occurs in
schools as well as in society. Additionally, children make up and decorate
themselves to be beautiful to avoid being bullied. It makes their parents
concerned about them, but still they do it. Why? It’s because of
fear that others judge their external appearances.
On the other hand, it’s
not illegal to judge people by external appearances; however, it’s
still insolent manners. We are free to tell our own opinions but there are
opinions that we should not say and can say. Those manners are the opinions
that you should not say.
In conclusion, people who judge
others by external appearances are ingrates! Everyone is imperfect, no one is
better than others, everyone is equal. In my opinion, there is no right to
judge others by their external appearances.
Watching TV is bad for childrenSun Ah Kim G9
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:40:39
Around the world, parents don’t have time to take care if their children. They also don’t know what kind of channels are on TV. Therefore, a lot of children watch violence, not because they want to watch it, but sometimes advertisements or programs violent are on TV. In addition, it is harmful for children to watch TV as it disturbs children’s’ education. Also children follow actions and copy swears words from TV programs.
Firstly, watching TV disturbs children’s education. Children can’t concentrate on their studying because of TV programs. Moreover when students meet their friends in school, they only talk about the new TV programs, new superstars or action movies.
Next, children whose brain aren’t developed yet follow the actions on movies or dramas. Also when the children hear bad words on TV, then they follow those slang words. They don’t know what those words mean and they follow because they sound funny.
Even though there are bad programs on TV, there are also good channels. News and discoveries help children to learn about economics and the environment.
In conclusion, watching TV is harmful to children. Because nowadays there are more violence programs than good programs.
Skills needed to succeed in the modern worldSun Ah Kim G9

The economic situation is experiencing crisis right now. So it is very hard to have a job and companies are in a recession. Therefore, we should have skills such as handling money, not trusting other people easily and knowing decisive.
Firstly, to become a rich person who has a big company, we should learn how to handle money. If we don’t handle our money properly, maybe it can be stolen by someone who works with us. There are lots of people like to trick someone who is rich.
Secondly, don’t trust other people easily. What if we trust a person who likes to lie or is bad and they break their promise about working?
Thirdly, we should know what we need and what we want. Because if we need something but we’ve spent our money on what we want to buy, then we can’t success in our job.
In conclusion, we really have to care about our money. And also have to be smart. So that others will respect us.
What are the important qualities of a son or daughter?Sun Ah Kim G9
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:39:07
Nowadays sons and daughters forget to do their duties towards their parents. There are lots of important qualities of a son or a daughter, but they don't even think to do them. They should be respectful to their parents and to others. Also, as a student, they should study hard. And not make big trouble.
Firstly, a son or a daughter should be respectful to their parents and to others. If they don’t respect others, they will complain to their parents and of course, the sons or daughters’ parents will be disappointed in them.
Secondly, as a student they should study hard. These days the parents like if their child/children study hard and get high grades. And if they make big trouble then their parents will be sad or get stressed.
Even though a son or a daughter has important qualities, they don’t have time to look after their child.
In conclusion, the most important quality of a son or a daughter is to be respectful, show what they learned from their parents and make their parents proud of them.
What changes would make your hometown more appealing to people your age?Sun Ah Kim G9
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:34:20
When I was young, my hometown was a dangerous place for children and teenagers. It was near car larks and bar. If I could change or make my hometown more appealing to people of my age, I would build more parks, food courts, skating roads and have counseling for teenagers.
To begin with, I would build more safe parts for teenage couples. If adults couples go to a park, other people will think it’s normal. But if teenage couples go to a park, then other people will say or think bad things about them. Therefore, there should be parks for teenagers so they will beguiled their time in a park.
Secondly, because many parents have jobs, they can’t regularly cook for their child/children. For this reason I would like to build food courts. That way, if children are hungry, they don’t have to go to MC Donald or the Pizza company. They can go to the food court and eat fresh food.
Thirdly, we need skating roads for children. Most apartments or houses’ roads are for cars and parking. So children have to roller-skates on roads with many cars. If there was a road for skating, it would be safe and joyful for children.
We could also build counseling for teenagers, parents are busy and less time to talk to their children about their problems, they could go and talk to counselors.
To summarize these points, I would like to build something that would guide teenagers in a good way and make our hometown more comfortable.
Why I like modern technologySun Ah Kim G9
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:33:39
I like modern technology because it is useful in my life. For example, the cell phone, computer and air conditioning. The cell phone is useful when I’m in danger. I can contact my parents or my buddies. What’s more other modern technologies are also useful.
But if there’s no technology then we can’t advance any new tools or things. Some people say/think modern technology is not good, because it causes global warming. They only think in negative ways. But we can’t live without modern technology.
What if there was no technology? Is anyone going to help me if I’m in danger? Or any books can help us to get information?
We also have to think in a positive way.
The most important invention in the world……Sun Ah Kim G9
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:33:16
All the inventions are important in the world. Each of these inventions has different but useful functions. But these days, the most important invention is the computer. It has a lot of functions in one. Also it’s much cheaper than buy other inventions which are separated into many kinds.
First of all, the most important invention in the world is computer because with one computer we can do lots of things. Such as communication, read news, download games, songs, videos, documents, and images. So we don’t have to buy newspapers everyday to read news, buy CDs for games, songs, videos, and buy documents or images. Because we can get those programmes in computer. Also it has extra functions [calculator, dictionary, etc.]
Secondly, it’s much cheaper than buy other inventions which are separated into many kinds. As I explained in the second paragraph, we don’t really have to buy these things. It’s called ‘wasting’. And we will be comfortable because computer has lots of functions so we don’t have to look for these functions. For example, if we like one of the song of Girl’s generation, but if there wasn’t computer, we have to go to the CD shop and but Girl’s generation’s CD just to listen to that song we like? It’s waste of money. How if there was computer? It would be much easier and don’t have to waste money and time.
If the word that you’re looking for isn’t in the dictionary, so are you going to the bookstore and buy new latest dictionary?
Although the most invention in the world is computer for some people because it has lots of functions, it is coming from the original inventions. Calculator, dictionary, songs from CDs. And it helps us when it is needed, but it causes global warming.
In conclusion, the most important invention in the world is the computer. But the functions are coming from the original inventions so we have to think that all the inventions are the most important inventions in the world.
If tomorrow morning you wake up in the body of an insect, are you still you? Who are you?Bora Lee G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:32:22
If I wake up in the body of an insect tomorrow morning, I believe that I am not myself anymore because I don’t think that only the spirit can make up a human itself. I strongly believe that humans are formed by the spirit and also the form of the body.
If I woke up as an insect, I would totally freak out. I would be really confused and would want to prove to my family and other people that I am not a creepy and disgusting looking insect but I am Bora. If I were one of the family members and looked at this situation, I wouldn’t believe that the insect is my family and wouldn’t let it near the house. Actually, I would just get a gun and try to kick the insect out of my house, at first sight without hesitation. So, in my opinion, I am just a creepy looking insect that the only difference is that I can think like a human being.
That means I am not Bora anymore. I think, Bora Lee, this pronoun is the name only for me, the formation of the spirit and the skin. Actually, name is made to be called by others, but since no one can recognize me, the name is now useless.
Another reason why it isn’t me is because I think the purpose of living is to communicate with people and be part of a society, but since my body is an insect, I can’t do any activities like human beings. Although my emotion and soul is alive no one considers me as a human and I can’t even express love, anger of happiness and cant’ be socialized. In my view, just only my mind is thinking as a human being, Bora lee doesn’t make me the human being that I used to be.
In conclusion, this situation can make me either live with other insects or live stealthily near my family and watch over them because I am no more the usual ‘me’. My skin had changed into an insect’s body and this is what I call ‘the loss of human’s uniaqueness’. If I could make an equation I would make it like this; spirit + human form = you, human being and I believe sociability will automatically be added. Then each of our names will be called. So I am me today but no tomorrow.
What changes would make your hometown more appealing to people your age?Bora Lee G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:31:50
What changes would make my hometown, Bangkok, more appealing to people my age? People my age are teenagers and teenagers nowadays are very choosey. They choose what really appeals to them and what captivated their eyes. So I would make changes to schools, entertainment centers and transportation to make teenagers want to come to Bangkok.
Firstly, schools in Bangkok need changes, especially their policies. Being a teenager, wearing a huge (or a long sleeved) uniform with long skirts or wearing pants with tugged shirt and belts is nonsense! Not only this. Teenagers are required to wear long socks with shoes that are specially made for students. This is too much of following of tradition! We, teenagers are living in the 21st century. So, the uniforms in Bangkok should be changed into stylish designs. It would be better if the materials for making uniforms could be changed to be suitable for the weather of Thailand.
Secondly, opening of more entertainment centers would definitely appeal to teenagers. Since they like to hang out with friends after school or during the weekend, entertainment centers such as movie theatres, karaoke bars, game zones and internet cafes would be beloved by them. Aside from this, building public libraries only for students would be beneficial also. There aren’t many places for students in Thailand to study after school and libraries here are expensive to go to. Therefore, public libraries that don’t cost much money will be as appealing as the entertainment centers.
Thirdly, there needs to be changes in transportation. All the old and unclean buses should be replaced with new buses immediately so that students, especially teenagers, won’t feel excluded. Lowering the basic fare in taxis would make teenagers move comfortable too. For example, if the basic fare dropped from 35 baht to 20 baht, teenagers wouldn’t have to use much of their pocket money and psychologically they would feel happier. Another thing that should be installed at every bus stop is an English and Thai written bus service route. Then Thai and foreign teenagers can easily know what number bus is going to where. This could be really useful, especially for foreign students.
In conclusion, the changes that I mentioned to appeal to teenagers are really experimental. That means, I guarantee that my ideas would completely captivate the teenagers. These changes would somehow make their lives satisfied and more comfortable because they are focused on what would appeal to the younger generation.
One should not judge a person by external appearances. Do you agree or not? Use specific reasons to support you answer.Bora Lee G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:30:54
Have you ever noticed yourself judging someone by their external appearances? Like, women can’t do tough work or beggars can’t be intelligent. This is what lots of people do; making stereotypes. When they meet a person or a particular group, they see their external appearances such as: gender, nationality, beauty and outfit, rather that their “inside”.
When people meet someone for the first time, externals are the only standard for judging him of her. So, in a few second, they determine if he or she is good looking or not. In fact, it isn’t really a bad thing to judge by first impression because it’s natural behavior for human beings. But externals just show a little part of the person so you shouldn’t always judge by looking at the “outside”. And it isn’t exact because externals hardly reflect our features. It might also hurt someone else’s feeling or worsen a relationship. For example, many people talk about Michael Jackson, especially his appearance. Some of them say bad things about his look and his white skin, just by seeing him in the mass media, although they don’t know him. This might have hurt Michael Jackson’s feelings because his appearance doesn’t show all of his character. Therefore to judge a person exactly, it is important to spend a longer time with him or her and see their personality.
In addition, judging a person by external appearances can mean you lack respect. When you respect someone that means you regard that person as a great person with a positive personality. So even if it’s a stranger, you should at least show admiration. For example, if a homeless person asks you something, you shouldn’t ignore him because of what he is wearing of how he isn’t clean. In this case, you should be polite and respect the homeless person as another human being. Lack of respect or admiration to others can come back to you in return.
Furthermore, it can be unfair to others, like someone who is disabled. Because they were born with disability, it is unfair for them to be treated differently from healthy people. Judging by externals leads to a variety of limitations on others too.
To sum up, external appearance is one way to judge a person but not the best way to judge one’s personality. We should rather spend a longer time with that person and try to know what’s deep inside them. Although, we can get useful information through externals, it doesn’t reflect the person as much as the internals. Therefore you shouldn’t judge a person by their externals.
Living in a country with high taxes may benefit the majority, but it is an unfair penalty on successful businessman who has to give away most of their salaries into taxes. Discuss this statement giving examples and offer your own conclusion.Bora Lee G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:30:11
Tax is a mandatory payment by people and businesses to a government of their country. It is said that taxes are payment by citizens for being a part of a society. So, everyone has to pay them. Taxes collected from the government are used in many places for making society better, but taxation faces many problems. Among those problems is that successful businessman have to give away most of their salaries in taxes and this has been considered unfair taxation. But in my opinion, I think the law of the taxation is fair for all of us including the businessmen.
The percentage of tax paid is proportional to what people earn. Thus, the more income, the more you pay tax. For example, people that earn below 10,000 baht per month should pay only 5% but those who earn more than 10,000 baht should pay 8% of their income. This could look unfair to those successful ones, but I think it’s a rational policy because it’s the best way that government can offer us a variety of benefits with the least loss. It might look as if the government is asking a lot of money from them but for them, it is not that big deal. Look at the Samsung Company. Although they pay a great amount of tax, they don’t suffer from a lack of money. They still can manage the company and live splendidly!
Furthermore, I think successful ones mustn’t think that the benefits from their money only go to the commoners. Actually, taxes are used in many places like national defense, health care, education and many more. So, they are for the successful ones too! People who pay a lot of tax should become wiser and share some of their large amount of over-floating money for other, and also for themselves.
On the other hand, if we don’t get high taxes from those successful ones, commoners and people with low income have to suffer by paying more tax which is very tough for them. For example, let’s say the government is willing to collect 1,000 baht for the total amount of tax. If a successful businessman that used to pay 800 baht changed the policy and paid 500 baht, other people with low income have to pay more than they used to pay. I believe this is totally irrational.
However, I think countries with high taxes are having a good policy. Although it seems rough to the rich people, it has the most benefits. It also helps the majority to no suffer by paying high tax. In addition, this kind of taxation can develop the education system and make the country a better place to live. For example, like Finland and the Netherlands. They are known as countries that have the most people satisfied with their own country. So, I think this policy should keep continuing in the future too.
Book Review: The MetamorphosisBora Lee G10

Imagine yourself waking up in a body which isn’t yours; you find that you simply aren’t yourself. In “The Metamorphosis”, Gregor Samsa, a travelling salesman, awakens one morning and finds that he has transformed into an insect. He loses mobility and the skill to communicate with humans. His nature slowly changes into an insects’; he refuses to eat what former Gregor used to like and feels more comfortable under the couch, rather than the bed. Early in his transformation, the Samsas all react in different ways. His father is full of anger over the shocking change of his son. The mother sinks weakly to the floor in a flurry and Grete, a younger sister of Gregor’s, tries to help Gregor, since none of the parents dare to come near Gregor’s room. Later in the story the family faces financial crisis, moreover with some unexpected happenings.
While reading the story, I felt like Gregor and I are “like-situated” people by means of getting fettered by this society and can’t reject the chain of thoughts about our job, work, responsibilities and duties regardless of any changes of bad situations. In the story, Gregor has three mouths to feed. So, he should perform well on his job and sacrifice his freedom. I think the majority of humans are like Gregor and I am also becoming one of them. Although it’s a school holiday I strongly feel that I have to go and fulfill my duty as a student. At one time of another my mom tells me that my brother and I should late support mom and dad as well as our offspring. Understood long time ago but, now I realize deep sown in my heart the words that elderlies say to youngsters; “The more you get older, the more responsibility will come.”
Personally, I like this book because it didn’t have a cliché discovery and it make me think more maturely about myself and my life. I also found if weird that his book doesn’t consist of likable characters. They all somehow show negative behavior and they look miserable, but I don’t want to change the characters because their attitude gives an additional appeal to the story. I just think the book is perfect as the way it is.
Finally, I highly recommend this book to everyone because it have only twenty-something pages but makes us all think deeply. Now people are busy doing their own work and they have no time to think about themselves. It will be great if everyone stops and thinks about their identity and the purpose of living for a moment. Wouldn’t it be a nice and new experience to know about you, yourselves a little more? I believe it is the time for everyone to see themselves through Gregor’s metamorphosis.
Book Review: The Hound of the BaskervillesBora Lee G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:29:03
I chose this book to read, not knowing what this book was about but when I started reading, I gradually became a detective inside the story. This book is one of the Sherlock Holmes’ stories and the story is really well-made. This short novel has Sherlock Holmes and his detective friend, Dr. Watson, who is trying to protect the life of Henry Baskerville. His uncle, Charles Baskerville recently died of a heart attack under mysterious circumstances. So he comes to England, in a village on Dartmoor where his uncle died, and Homes sends Watson out to the mansion with Sir Henry. Then Watson reports all and every strange happening to Holmes, while Holmes is working on another case in London. In the moor, Watson meets strange people like Seldon, and escaped prisoner; Stapleton, a mysterious naturalist who lives with his beautiful sister; and the servant Barrymore and his wife. Watson and Holmes have to find out about the sound of the hounds and solve the case. They later solve the case very intelligently and perfectly.
This book is really amazing! It is light and very enjoyable to read. It also doesn’t consist of too many characters. So, it wasn’t confusing and was easy to read. This is my first time reading a Sherlock Holmes book and now I understand why the books are popular. It’s easy to read and the story just automatically makes us turn the page.
My favorite part of the book was when Holmes surprised Watson, when Watson was hiding behind the wall. Watson thought they guy walking towards him in the dark was a bad person. So, he silently hid himself but the guy shouted his name and it was Holmes. I was really amazed by Holmes’ skill in observation because he actually knew it was Watson hiding by seeing his unique cigarette. Holmes’ power in observation is fantastic!
Lastly, I’d like to recommend this book to someone who is always curious. This book is like a problem; it gives you the mysterious and unsolved case and at the end there is the answer for all of this! If people read only the first chapter they will definitely continue to read and enjoy the book. However, I am eager to read another Holmes’s adventure.
Book Review: “Round the World in Eighty DaysBora Lee G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:28:20
Have you ever done something challenging to prove that you could do what you had claimed to your friend or to the public? The protagonist, Phileas Fogg, in this book is about to travel around the world in eighty days (at a time when airplanes didn’t exist) after discussing with his friends about the numbers of days it would take to go round the world. He, Phileas Fogg and his servant, Passepartout, start their journey in London. Phileas bet twenty thousand pounds that he could come back to London on time. During the journey Phileas is followed by a detective, who strongly thinks that Phileas is a robber, who has stolen money from the bank in London and is now escaping the country. On Phileas’s journey, he and his companions face a dilemma between their lives and an Indian princess’s life. However, they risk their lives rescuing the princess and later in the story, she joins this journey and falls in love with Phileas.
In this book, I can relate to detective Fix. When Fix was curious about Phileas and wanted to know about him, Fix tried to follow him and also tried to get information from others. In this case, he really acts similar to me. In my experience, I was once curious about a guy. So, I tried to search about him on the internet and get some information from a few people. But I didn’t stalk like Fix! I think Fix is a little abnormal in someway. Anyway Fix and I have some common behavior.
Apart from my experience, this book was fantastic! It really took me inside the story and led me around the world. One thing I had a problem with in this book was that too many destinations make me feel confused! Another thing I would like to change in the book is the characteristics of the Indian princess, Aouda. In my opinion, this book lacked humor and, especially Phileas, who was a gentleman that didn’t smile or laugh. So, it would have been better if Aouda was humorous. Then she could make Phileas laugh a lot and make the book more exciting!
Finally, I would like to recommend this book to people who likes adventuring and facing challenges who would love this book. People who are always curious would also like it because the book is all about adventures and facing unexpected problems. The episodes inside the book will draw them into the story, I believe and they will thank me for recommending this book to them.

I disagree with this statement the school need to give a student a chance or just let’s
the student to stay at home about 2-3 Days
How ever , school should not allow to steal
On the one hand I think the person who’s stealing maybe they doesn’t have money or for example if they doesn’t have pencil or pen they will steal it Because of this, most of the students are stealing thing from other
O the other hand stealing is not good As a result even they steal they will have no friend and maybe when they grow up they might me a stealer also
In conclusions, I believe that if the teachers give chance to the students they can be
a better person and they will have a good work to do also.
But if teacher and there friend don’t give chance to them so they will do more bad thing and they will have no work also.

Any student caught stealing at school should be immediately and permanently excluded*
-Schools cannot allow stealing at school. But,if any student stole something from other student, the school shouldn't exclude the student immediately.
-On the one hand, schools cannot allow stealing at school.Firstly,so that no one will loose their things.Secondly,so that student won't learn bad things or bad ideas. In addition,if the school will allow stealing, the student who stole other's things might steal, when he or she grow up.
-On the other hand,if any student stole something such as a notebook from other student, the school shouldn't exclude the student immediately.and the teachers can give another punishment instead of excluding.Such as telling their parents, giving them a bad report.
-In conclusion, the students must know that stealing is not good .So that, the students won't steal from other people.

In my opinion,i don't believe in ghosts or UFOs.But,there are some people who believe in ghosts and UFOs.
-I don't believe in ghosts.Because,i never saw one and even the people around me said that they don't believe too. I don't think they're lying to me.
-I don't believe in UFOs because,in my opinion, aliens are not real.and the people can make UFOs by the computers, cameras.
-There are some people who believe in ghosts because, they're thinking too much of scary things like a monsters or scary faces.and they watch too many movies or tv programs such as horror movies.Sometimes, they feel cold or strange and they think a ghost was near them.and some people believe in ghosts by reading ghost stories.
-There are some people who believe in UFOs because, they think aliens are real and sometimes they think the birds or airplanes are UFOs,by reading books, and by looking at pictures or watching movies.
-In conclusion,i don't believe in ghosts or UFOs but, there are some people who believe.

Bangkok is the place where i'm living now. Here has problems, such as: too expensive things, lots of homework in school, and few places to play for the people of my age.
-In Bangkok, things are expensive and because of that, there are a lot of poor people here. The poor people may sleep on the street, because they don't have money to buy a house, food ,and cloth. For this problems to be solved,i would change everything to be free. For example, clothes, foods, houses to be free. So that, there wouldn't be any thieves or poor people.
-For homework in school,i would make a rule that, there will be no homework. Because of the homework, the students get tired, have less free time. For example,if they don't have homework for about math, they wouldn't get headaches and if they have projects, they don't need to buy the materials for that. And at least, they have time to play, rest.
-I would make more theme parks such as Dreamworld, because in Bangkok, there are only a few of these theme parks and they are far away. For example:if there will be lots of theme parks,we can play a lot, can find easly , and we can go whenever we want.
-If there wouldn't be any homework,it's better but, they will become more stupid, lazy, and spend lots of tome for playing.and if everything will be free, they might forgot, how their parents work and earn money.and if there will be more theme parks, there might be more accidents.
-In conclusion,i would make everything free, more theme parks,no homework but, i think now is also ok to live.
Watching television is bad for childrenDa Hye Yang G7
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:24:13
In my opinion,i agree that watching television is harmful to children, because they might know or learn about bad things and also, it's not good for their eyes.
- Watching television is bad for their eyes.If they watch for a short time about 20-30 minutes it would be better, and parents should take care of their children. Also, watching television is harmful to children because they might stay up late and not concentrateon their studies or not do their homework.
-Another reason is they might know, learn or see bad ideas/things through the TV. For example, shows might have killings, drinking alcohol, and smoking. It's not only in the shows, it's even on the news! But, most children don't watch the news because they think it's boring. It can be cartoons or movies too. They might also hear bad words through the TV.And they shouldn't follow those.
-Watching TV is harmful to children but, there are some good programs such as documentaries and children programs. From that, they can learn about nature, other people, and vocabulary.
-In conclusion, watching TV is harmful to children but if parents take care,as long as children finish their homwork , it would be ok to watch. And i hope that the children will get only good information.
Do you prefer to eat at restaurants or food stands?Da Hye Yang G7
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:23:24
In my opinion,i prefer to eat at food stalls more than restaurants.
They are easy to find on the streets, even near my house.
-The reason why i like food stalls is because they're cheaper than restaurants. For example,in restaurants chicken costs about 100baht.But at food stalls it costs about 40baht.
-Another reason why i prefer to eat at food stalls is that we can see how they cook the food. In restaurants, we can't see the way of cooking. Also,we can see the good view. In restaurants, sometimes,we can't see a good view.and food stalls are convenience, even we can buy food and take it home.
-I like to eat at food stalls but, it's not really clean because most of the food stalls are next to the road. There's no-airconditioning and there are lots of insects, such as mosquitoes, flies, and bees.
-In conclusion, i prefer to eat at food stalls and i hope the food stalls will become better than now.

. I can buy knifr to pla with it too! Guns are vey dangerous, but it's very fun
to shoot something! And if I don't have money, I can just take whatever, no one will catch me!
And if there's no Police then there's no need to go to Police station and fight
with Police it would be very appealing to me!But if there were n Police in te
world it will be bad sometimes because maybe some one would take me and kill me!
Also there will be many eccident becaus babies cannotdrive proply! So there will
be many excident there wil be many fights with guns.So I think if there are Police or
n Police it's the same for me, but it's much better if thereare Police, Because I don't want to die.
Do you believe in ghosts or UFOs?Won Beom Choi G7
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 12:18:09
I don't believe in ghosts. But some people believe in ghosts. But I believe in UFO, but some people not.
I don't believe in ghosts. Because I never saw ghosts and it's on TV only. They're lying to us, some people said they say a gosts. But I know they are lying. So in my opinion I dn't believe in ghosts.
I believe in UFO, because in myopinion like in Jupiter thee are aliens like us we are people, but maybe aliens are thinking like us. The people is aliens, so I believe in UFO also because even people's have rocket. But maybe aliens have UFO like us. So in my opinion I believe in UFO.
* Why People Believe in Ghosts?
I don't know why people beleive in ghosts maybe they just watch too many movies or maybe they play a lot of games about ghoss, or they read or listen to the ghost music too much. So they just feel someting such as ghosts. And when they think about ghosts too much maybe they can see them in their dreas, but I never believe in ghosts.
* Why People Don't believe in UFO?
I believe in UFOs, because peple on Earth have rockets. And maybe on the planes have like Earth rockets, so I believe in UFOs.
*It depends on people if they believe or not I do't care about that.

Stealing is a bad habit and students doing this means punishment. If you're a student,
you should not steal things, becauseour teachers teach us not to stal things.
If we steal, we cannot stop stealing wen we grow up. We will steal everytime,
stealing is very bad because mabe we can go to jail, if we steal a lot. We should
not steal things. When to are yung you may only steal sall things but, when you
grow up, you may steal large amount of thngs.
Stealing is very bad bt I think people can steal one time in their life, even me,
when I was in grade 3, I stole my mom's money but when my mom knew,
she him me, however, it's very bad, we should not steal things because
maybe we cn go to jail for a long time.So it's much beter not to steal things
in our life. So we have to not to steal things in our life. We have to becareful everytime.
Watching television is bad for childrenWon Beom Choi G7

I think watching TV is bad for our eyes. But, people cannot stop because it's
fun so people usually can't stop. Some of them know it's bad for them so they controll themselves.
When we watch a lot of TV, we can get blind. When
we get blind it is very hard to walk so it's better not to watch a lot of TV.
Also when there are bad things then children' wil copy, forexample bad words.
People on TV speak bad wrds to each oter and fight, so children follow what is on TV.
I think watcing a lot of TV is very bad for your life !
When we watch a lot of TV maybe we can do bad things like smoking, killing, fighting.
The last time I watched the News a 13 years old killes a taxi driver because the kid watched
bad things on TV. He followed what was on TV. Also plaing computer games is bad because the
monitor is akind of TV so I think that is bad.
But, sometimes I think watching TV is good because on TV there is News
and we can study about earth. And sometimes on TV they teach Maths,
so we can study from TV. So it's good sometimes. I think sometimesit's good
for us but when we watch a lot is bad so we have to watch only 30 minuites or less eachday.
So do not watch a lot of TV, it can attact you so look or watch only 10~30 minuites.
That is best thing to do and don't sit too close to the TV.
Do you prefer to eat at restaurants of food stands?Lalita Khampha G8

There are many places that we can find foods such as food stands and restaurants. Restaurants we can find them nearby food stands. Many people like different styles f places. Some like to eat at restaurants because it’s cool and some likes to eat in restaurants because it’s cheap.
I prefer to eat in restaurants because now the weather is very hot and inside the restaurants is cool because of the Air conditioner and it’s more comfortable and I can bring my works to do there. I can also order desserts like ice cream, it’s not so cheap but it has better food than in food stands.
What I like about restaurant more than food stands is that the food is cleaner and healthier. The place is cleaner, more hygienic; it has toilets and sinks so that you can wash your hands before you eat. Even though the food is quit slow, it’s high quality foods.
Food stands are also good another ways. It’s good because it’s fast and it’s delicious and I can specify what I want. It’s cheaper even though it’s not that high of a quality like in restaurants, it’s also good somehow.
Even though restaurants now that the business is not so good. The suggestion of eating at food stands is a better choice, because the foods are cheap but you have to be careful choosing things because we don’t know how long has the food been outside the pollutions.

Do you want to be invisible? This book will tell you how.
His book is a story about a man who became invisible because of a science experiment. His friend Kemp and Griffin told him about a student in a college who did an experiment and disappeared in the science lab. He was on the run, on that night the thought of what his friend told him. He did the experiment and became invisible that night. He was all wrap up in a white cloth like a mummy and the police was hunting for him. Would he be able to escape? Could the police capture him?
In the story I don’t want to change anything in the story but for me I think that it’s boring but I think that people who like solving mysteries would like this book.

This book is a story about a woman named Anna who lives with her husband, Karenin and her son Sasha in Moscow. Her brother Stevenson, lived in the country with his wife Dolly and their having a little problem, Stevenson is having mistresses but Dolly doesn’t want him to, at first she decides to go live with her mother and their children , but Anna talks to her and they lives go on the same way as it was before. The night later at the ball Vronsky, a young soldier and Anna fell in love with each other. When Anna went back to back to Moscow they quickly became lovers but they run into very many problems. If Anna and her husband divorce what would happen to Sasha? Will she get divorce, who will she choose? What will she choose? Dead or alive?
I really cannot really relate to any of the characters in the story because I am not that old and I never had any experience like Ana before.
I like this book because it’s really fun and interesting, my favorite past was when Vronsky and Anna begin to be lovers because they did not run into the much trouble. He part that I don’t Anna's terrible fate, because it’s not fun and it’s a very sad story.
If I could change the book I would not let Anna be so drastuc, I would let her go to the country and live there happily.
I would like to recommend this book to people who have problems about husbands or boyfriend having mistresses.
Book review: Hound of the Baskervilles Rasita Khampha G8

The hound of the Baskerville is about the bad things that happened to the Baskerville family. This story was told by Sir Charles Baskerville which was told by his father also. Sir Charles Baskerville was found dead just outside is home, Baskerville hall. This terrible story starts when Hugo Baskerville kidnapped a girl, but she escaped. So Hugo Baskerville followed her, but she was killed, so when he got near her, the gigantic hound killed him, he lied down dead beside the girl. And from that day forward, the Baskerville family died mysteriously. People say that they were killed by a gigantic devil-like creature. But the new owner of the Baskerville hall is coming; can Sir Sherlock Holmes save him from the terrible death?
I liked this story because it is fun; I liked the part especially when they found out about this terrible story, because maybe they will know how to save the new owner. I would like to recommend this book to persons who liked mystery stories.

Most people prefer restaurants, because it has air-con, so it’s cooler, but to eat at food stands sometimes is also nice, because in food stands, you can specify what you want in your food, and it’s convenient.
I prefer to eat at restaurants rather than food stands, because in restaurants you can eat in a clean place, it is cooler, and the seats are more comfortable, so you can enjoy your food more.
Also, in restaurants you can eat clean food, and the food has quality. You can enjoy it more if you are eating a qualified food and it is delicious.
Food stands are good to eat at sometimes, because at food stands, you can get quick service, and you can specify what you want in your food.
In restaurants maybe it’s too expensive for some people. And most of the time the service is slow. But in food stands even though the service is fast, it is not clean, and there’s no water to wash our hands.

Time is gold, we need to think about everything before we do it other wise, it will waste our time.
The time doesn’t wait for us. We need to follow the schedule to keeping time. In one day we can do many things, such as work, sleep, study, eat and play. If we don’t follow the schedule. In one day we can’t do many things.
On the other hand, Sometimes we must waste time following a schedule. For example…, six o’clock is time for dinner. But if we’re on schedule, we need to eat dinner later, and when we eat dinner late. We do homework late also and we go to bed late.
In conclusion, In my opinion I don’t want to do a schedule, but we need to do. Because a schedule helps to keep time.

The sign of four is about Sherlock Holmes helping Miss Mary Morstan finding her dad.
The main characters were Sherlock Holmes.DR.Watson and Jonathan Small.
Sherlock Holmes found the Agra treaure with DR.Watson.
The problem was Jonathan Small and Tonga was so mysterious.
They went on a boat to stop Small and Tonga.
My favourite character was Tonga because he is so cute.
I think Tonga and i are nearly the same, because he is short also.(A pygmy actually).
I have once felt the same with Small, because someone betrayed me.
I liked the book very much.
My favourite part of the book was when the dong came out and he is cute.
My least favourite part of the book is when Small throw the treasure in the sea
I wouldn't change anything in the book.
I would recommend this book to others because it is very fun and i think Pat will like it.
What changes would make your hometown more appealing to people your age?Zeng Yuan Yuan G7

In my opinion, i would like to change Bangkok to not be polluted and everyone being equal, with no leaders,no gangs and everything free so there will be not be beggars and nobody will get worried about the economy.
I would get rid of pollution so our bodies doesn't get harmed.Car's bad smoke has chemicals in it which damage our health and is bad for the enviroment. For example, factories have bad smoke we could tell them to use only 10 percent of what they use now so there will be less pollution. We can also plant trees to help, give lots of water to the plants and a lot of sunshine to let them make more glucose.
I would also like to change the laws of Bangkok to let the harmless animals free. For example horses and cows. But wild animals like lions, tigers and gorillas. We cannot let them free because they might eat us! So we can only let the harmless animals out.Another thing is not to use cars because they cause heavy pollution and can kill the plants so we should travel by horse, it will be fast and not cause pollution. We could also plant plants to help our world.
I would make all people in bangkok follow my new laws and one of them would be do not throw litter on the floor and pick it up to help our world. For this law, i would put more recycle bins in the city so peoples could throw rubbish away.I would also employ more cleaners to help clean the floors so that if anyone wants a job they can tell me and we would let them get this job in no time.
So everybody please listen to these new laws and i really do expect that when i walk around the streets i won't see anymore litters!Keep up the good jobs and for those whoare unemployed, come see me and you'll get one.

In my opinion, i think it is harmful for children to watch TV,because watching too much does harm children, for example:your eyes could be damaged if you watch a lot of, so you may have to wear glasses.
It's harmful because it can make you not concentrate, or stay up late and will be late for school. Most children can only watch about 1-3 hours per days and must finish off homework before they can watch.(Thats what my parents told me). Also if you watch violent stories, maybe you will learn from them and think that it is alright to fight, kill or copy them.So i agree that it is harmful.
It is bad also because some movies show smoking and drinking wine and so may be the kids don't know that it is bad and their parents try to drink and smoke. Some of the movies are about casinos and they are playing in illegal ways.Maybe the children willl copy them and do the same,so parents also are at fault if they bought TVs and put them where their childrens can watch. So it is not always children's fault.
Even though it is bad it is still good in some ways. For example,we can get information from the new and learn about somewhere we haven't been before. For example, the red shirts and yellow shirts are fighting so it's dangerous to go out but we want to see so we can just watch it on the TV.Maybe sometimes we want to relax we can watch TV and relax or maybe, put a CD in the CD player so wo can listen to music and relax.
But,I still agree that watching TV is bad for children and that's my answer why i agree that it is harmful for children to watch TV. Watching a little is alright but make sure not too much.

I prefer to eat at restauraunts because it is cool so we don't sweat all over, which causes flies to come. It's very comfortablewhen we are in air-conditioned rooms. Also,it is clean and before we eat they give us wet napkins to clean our hands, the toilets are also very clean compared to food stalls,I like restauraunts because they use good ingredients and some more things to make it more delicious.
I prefer to eat at restauraunts because the surroundings are nice and some of the restauraunts even put some lights like disco ones, and some are classic and fancy. The one i like to go to most is a japanese restauraunt called Oyama in JJ Mall at jatujak,it has sushi, sashimi and much more.
I would choose a restauraunt because the staffs are polite, they talk politely, all of them smileand they are kind, actually all of the employees in Thailand are quite kind but in other countries they are not, this is good.Plus the enviroment outside is not good because of pollutions and the car's gas(the smelly one)comes out, so it's smelly, and at food stalls it is noisy because it is just on the street so a lot of people talk outside! But, in the restauraunt it is quiet and very clean so thats why i choose restauraunts.
Even though i like reataunts, they also have negative parts.First, they are too expensive, some times food is about 2000-3000฿ or even more! They are also not good because they are inconvinient, every time when i will goto the restauraunt,we go by car and it takes us a long time to get there and on normal streets we cannot find a restauraunt,it is so easy to find a food stall because they just stay at the side of the street and they can make food very fast also.
but anyway,i still like restauraunts best of all because at the food stall,it is hot and lots of insects and they bite us,the flies are always disturbing us and they bring dirty things on our body so i prefer to eat in restauraunts.

In my opinion, I think homework is important for me, because homework can give me practice and make me better. So....I agree with this statement.
Firstly, I think homework is important. Because I practice to make myself better in that subject. Secondly, if we don't do homework. We'll not have a score for that subject and we'll fail that subject.So.... we need to do homework.
On the other hand, Sometime when I have a lot of homework it make me bored , for example...,when I have a lot of homework such as maths, sciences and have two essays that really make me bored.
In conclusion,I think even though I'm bored to do homework, I need to do it,Because homework is important to me.

In my opinion, schools can not allow stealing students to say in the school. And I agree with this statement that we should exclude those stealing.
Firstly, I think we should exclude the staling. For example, if we exclude them, they'll know that they're wrong. Secondly, other copy them a bad person. Because of this........, we should exclude bad people.
On the other hand, I think it is a fraction too hard to do that. In addition, If we don't want to exclude we should give a punishment. Such as give a warning to them, giving them a bad report, telling their parent, detention and exclusion.
In conclusion, I agree with this statement to exclude stealing students. I believe that't steal anymore.

I would like to make foot paths because everybody can use it, even thogh skytrain is the most way convientent for travel but it’s still needed to wait for it nound to round
Same to busses , so in time of difficult in would be hard for travel and finally foot paths will become the choice and also for there people waste all the money in wallet for something they need to go home i thing if i could change here i will make more park and stadium decause i want Bangkok
To be a beautiful city. and i want people who live here to have a place to exercise and orther
I thing if i can change all . people who live here will have a better life.

If i have to choose between food stall or restaurant because they are clean and when
i eat with my family i always fell happy…
Why do you prefer restaurant?
I prefer restaurant because they are cleaner than food stall have a better view, cleaner
food, freshes air, there are no insects or mosqitos, the air conditioning is cold and fresh
and there are no cockroach. But the thing that i like most in the restaurant is they have
classical music, hiphop, rock, top music.and some restaurant also have show like joking
show…555+
What is the reason . Why i don’t prefer food stalls?
Sometimes i eat at food stalls and the food it not it not clean , Sometimes they slso have cockroach or lizards on the table.
And also sometimes the mosqitol bite them legs and they dont have Air contiditioning
the view is bad there is fresh air at the food stall, the tables are dirty at the food stall and also the smoke from the cars smells bad…
Even though i like restaurant , some food is also expensive , but the food is cleanes.
And also sometimes restaurant smell bad because of the food , is not hot , and
some times the food it too spicy and sometimes it’s too sweet. But even thouth the
restaurant has a negative point i still want to choses the restaurant because the food is
cleaner and fresh than the food store.

Do you think watching television is bad for children?
a lot people Say watching television is bad for children but some say it is Good for Children.
I think watching television is good for children Why ?
because we can get information from TV, for example if a rocket goes to space we can’t see so we have to watch it on the TV. The TV is good also because when we are exhausted we can watch some funny movies and feel better. When we have free time we can watch TV and it will make our time go faster some can go to other place to do some work and we think that it will be fast to finish the work.
Sometimes when I sleep, I been before I sleep I watch TV and relax sometimes I even fall asleep when I’m in bed and the TV is on till the morning I also think that it is good because it has cartoons so the children can be happy and they will not be noisy. We can also know about the climate outside and maybe the children can become geographer when they grow up if they watch a lot of geographic channels. If the children watch discovery channel they can learn about Africa of something like that.
Why it is bad for Children ?
Sometimes children can also get bad things from television like fighting, killing, Smoking etc. Also children can get bad eyes. If they watch too much television and it will be nice to wear a pair of glass.
My conclusion.
I thing watching TV is bad for children’s but there are some good TV programs.

In my opinion, I think our home town is dirty and had a lot of garbage’s on the floor’s
I like Bangkok but i think Bangkok has to mail buildings , if i could change Bangkok i would like to tell the builders also some building and the owner of the building to stop building buildings also some even some building are too big . I would let the builder to destroy the buildings , make a park and i would like to plants a lot of trees on the street and in the park to save our world too.
In Bangkok some places are dirty and too much trash on the streets and on the road , If i could help about this trash i would like to tell all the cleaners to help my hometown to be clean by keeping a trash on the ground and put rubbish bins in more place in Bangkok so people can throw a trash on the bins and people are not going to throw a trash on the road or on the streets.
Even though I like Bangkok I still think that Bangkok has too many big buildings so we can’t see the view very clearly , so it makes Bangkok clean and clear by help each other to clean, it also can be there job .
Even though Bangkok has bad points I still like Bangkok and I will try my best to make Bangkok to be neat, clear & clean.

In my opinion I don’t believe in ghosts or UFOS because I never see one and I don’t think that there’re ghost or UFOS in this world.
I don’t believe in ghosts because I have never see one and my parents and my teachers said that there are no ghosts in this world. I don’t think that ghost are real and I will never believe in ghosts.
I don’t believe in UFOS too and I don’t thing they are because UFOS are only in Cartoons and if there are UFOS everybody will have see one already. ! So I don’t thing UFOS are real and I don’t thing that there are UFOS in other planets.
I never thing that there are UFOS or ghosts but I know that there are some people who believe in ghosts and UFOS .! I think the season why they believe in ghosts and UFOS is because they watch too many movies they think too much and some also read too many ghost stories.
Even though there are lots of people who say there are ghosts and UFOS, and some of my friend said there are ghost, I still don’t believe that there are ghosts and UFOS in this would and I’ve never seen one.

In my opinion, I don’t believe in ghost and UFO. Why? because I never Saw them. But I’m scared of them!
What do I believe in between ghosts or UFO? Because I never saw them and I think we don’t have in the world. Even though I know that, I am scared about ghosts. Because I saw on the television about a ghost story. And it’s very scary.
If you ask me what I believe in? I’ll says ghosts, because somebody told me. And it’s more scary than UFO. And I think UFO. And I think UFO are cuter than ghosts. Ghosts are very ugly.
I know some people believe in ghost and UFO. My friend says she saw the ghosts at noon. Another friend say she saw a ghost at night. But I never heard anybody tell me about UFO. An in my opinion. Those who believe in UFO are silly.
Even though I’m scared of ghost. I’m not scared of UFO. But I don’t believe in either.

If I could change Bangkok to be my dream it would be like Singapore. I'd start with cleaning Bangkok first.
In my opinion. Bangkok is good, but Bangkok it is not clean. I don't throw trash in to the river, sea, or beach. I'll make rules that "Don't throw trash outside the bin, if somebody does, they must pay money". The same rule as Singapore.
Bangkok is not good because it has smoke from cars. I will change like in cartoons. Don't uses oil (uses batteries),and some ride animals, or bicycle(it help to reduce smoke). And I want car to have some wings, so they can fly. It helps to not have traffic jams.
I watched television it was news about forest fires or flood. Because the forest have less trees. I think everybody should plant at least one tree per person, so it can help forest.
I want to have Bangkok to be just like my dream. I’ll start at myself first because I think that if I do not start with myself, then no one will follow and my dream won’t be true.

Television is good because it has information such as a vocabulary, nature, history and help us to understand the world and oter people. Television is bad thugh because it bad ideas, chidren may stay up late and it's bad for chidren eyes.
What do I think about television? I think television is bad and good. But I thinkbad more than good.Staying up late is harmful for children,as they will go to school late. But good is information such as vocabulary to know new words. And can understand the world too.
Children can know about news. If the news is about killing ,then children will know if today will be rainny, sunny or cloudy. And can learn about vocabulary, nature, history, understand the world and other people.Children will be cleveres. But,I think television isn't good for childrenover0-6 years.
I think television is bad.Because maybe it a sex advertises.Maybe it news about bad things such as sex , killing, bad movies, bad shows, bad cartoons. Some cartoons are good, some cartoons are bad.I thin Doraemon is good cartoon because he help Nobita everytime.
I think television is bad for children.Because it more bad things than good things.

more we'll be curious abouth the opposite sex.
First of all, if boys and girls attend the same school, they'll know how boys or girls are, because they stay together in one school every week. For example, boys and girls will know their attitude so when they grow up, they can choose a good person that they're going to marry. But if the girls and the boys attend separate school, the girls are going to believe boys' attitude from movies or dramas because they haven't see the boys in real life and they don't know how the boys play their way of talking and their likes and dislikes.
Another example of this is there are also boys near their houses and
what if girls don't know the boys' attitude and believe everything that that the boys saying or do which may be a lie.
Next, girls and boys stay in the same school, they'll experience love.
If a a girl or a boy who are girlfriend and boyfriend stay together everyday they'll not always think about each other.
because they're always together. But if the girlfriend or boyfriend attend separate schools then they'll miss each other, think about them and wait until the day that
they are going to meet. The effect of attending separate schools makes couples lose their cocentration on their studies.
Lastly, if the school has only girls then the students will be amiable to each other.
At schools that separated girls and boys it happents a lot. An example of this type of school is Bangkok Christian school.
The girls became toms and the boys became gays because they stay together with the same gender. Sometimes they can be amiable to their schoolmates.
in conclusion, even if we seaparate girls and boys, always remeber that there are girls and boys who are their neighbours in their villages and in internet such as Hi5, facebook and MSN.

Now there are many problems with teenagers. For example they commit suicide because they have broken hearts from their boy or girl friends and argument with their parents because of computer games. Most teenagers spend most of their time with their girl or boy friends rather than parents or studying. So it's hard to said that teenagers would not have any problems about education. The idea that boys and girls should attend separate school is good, but in my opinion it's not good at all because our world is a technology world, there many websites for finding friends that are opposite sex.So in my opinion boys and girls should attend combined schools because they are going to know how to judge a opposite sex, shy how to control their self, not to be too shy, and get more experience.
Firstly, I think combined schools is good because teenagers are going to know more about how to judge a person.I know that at this age we should think more about studying than sexy girls or handsome boys.I think the reasons why girls/boys have separate schools is because of girl and boy friend's problems. Moreover we should consider future problems.I know that every parent and teacher wants to see their children focus on their studying more than thinking about the opposite sex, but if they really want to then we can't stop them not to being that way because they choose their own way.Parents and teachers are only guards that try to warn and protect children from a danger. So let them learn by themselves how to judge a person and it won't lead to a real regret later. Even if parents send their children to separate schools they still have a computer. They can find a person on any website like hi5.I think that is worse than judging a person that is in the same school because online you do not know their real behavior, but in the school you meet them everyday. I know that every teenager wants their privacy, no one wants their parents and teachers to control and pull them in a way which they really do not want but also they should think that the ways that parents and teachers giving them are correct because all of them have already passed this age so they already know more than them. This is going to be our second topic.
Next, is the issue of privacy. Most teenagers want their privacy I think too much privacy isn't good because it's hard for you to control yourself when you are outside of the school. For example if a girl and you are in girl's school you can sit in an ugly way, but it's very comfortable for you - so you will always sit like that;and when you go outside to The mall it'll be hard for you to sit properly because you're use to sitting like that so it's hard to change. It's like you're set in your ways so you can't turn back any more.So if you are in a combined school you learn not to be too private because if you're a girl you should sit properly so that the boy won't look at you in dirty way!If you are a boy you should watch your words so that the girls will not gossip and look at you in a bad way.
On the other hand, separate schools are also another experience you will meet and learn more about people who're sexually confused. Moreover you may found out what you want to be.It doesn't matter that if you are gay or lesbian, you are still a person.Even though you are that way you're still part of society.I think people that are sexually confused are the one who bring happiness to our country because they can make you just from the way their acting. There are also evidence that most children in separated school have more self-confidence than children in combined schools.
In conclusion I don't think that separate schools are worse than combined schools but that the idea of separate school isn't good at all because now it's the world of technology so it's hard to pull children in the way that parents and teachers want.So I think teenagers should know about their wants and needs. They should know the level not just think only about their privacy because it doesn't depend on the type of school but it depends on the way they go or choose.
Do you prefer to eat at restaurants of food stands?Pichana Deesarapad G7

Which one do you prefer?or Which one do you want to eat at?food stalls oe restaurants.I prefer restaurants, because when I eat there I am happy and it's a lot of fun.
Why do i choose restaurants?
I choose restaurants because I think it is have a lot of people who ar rish. And I think it's delicious and cool(have air-condition,Also, restaurants othe food is very clean, there are no lizards mosquitos, cockroch or insects they play clasical music when eating lunch or dinner. It's so cool when I stay in there, I always eat a lot!
Why don't I choose food stalls?
Sometimes I eat at food stalls but I am scared of lizards mosquitos, cockroches.I thinkfood stalls are good, but less than restaurants, because they are very dirty .However some food alls are dilicious. Some are not delicious, dirty, smell of smoke from cars and buses and don't have classical music, and food stalls are always very hot!
I choose restaurants. But restaurants sometimes are not good. as sometimes the food it's not delicious and the food isn't clean also, Sometimes inside air-condition as it's very hot outside, and the restaurants have hiso people so the price is more expensive, the waiters are also careless.I don't prefer food stalls aren't always bad. sometimes they're cheap and delicious.
So,as I said, the restaurants are not good, but they are better than food stalls, Because they are cool(have air-condition) and don't have lizards, mosquitos and cockroches
Do you think the invention of cars changed the world?Tammatat Veeramanomi G8

Cars have been used all the times in every country. In the past cars used to belong to the rich but now anyone wants to buy one can buy. Because they are cheaper.
Many styles of car are sold and accessories are created. Cars make cities look colorful. Now we have more gears so we have more accidents on the street but, on the other hand it helps to go faster.
Cars need petroleum. At the present time the quantity of petroleum is getting lower and lower. And this makes the environment worse and the earth is hotter, called Global Warming.
We should save natural energy as much as possible to make the earth live longer and we should drive cautiously not make earth change in bad way
At which point in your life would you like to travel and where would you like to go or what would you like to do?Tammatat Veeramanomi G8

Travelling is good idea to relax myself after we finish doing something that make stress. Everybody always wants to go travelling or do something what they want. In our life there are many things that be obstacle for travelling; work, study, family, and parents. Even though I have many places that I want to go I can’t go!
With my age, there are many things come around my life. We have to plan for future. For me I plan that after my graduation I want to rest my mind by going some places I wish to go. I may go abroad in countries that use English and Chinese as their native languages. I want to go around the world; America, China, South Korea, to learn their culture, new experience.
There are many reasons to go travelling; to have fun, for education, to learn cultures that interesting, to encourage my life. In many a country has interesting places, has history, ways of life. To look at poorer men will encourage me
For me China is the first country that comes into my mind, because they have very long and interesting history and culture. I wish to go there very much I predict that my Chinese will get better if I go there.
To go somewhere or to do something has to think over about suit. Make sure that the place where to go is suitable and proper to age.

There are many businesses about food opened in many place, so I can find these stores easily. Some of them are restaurants; some of them are food stands. Some are good, some are bad. Both food stands and restaurant have their own pros and cons such as quality of food, location.
I prefer to eat at restaurant rather than food stands because in restaurants have good service, around the restaurant looks good-looking and clean, comfortable seats also. They have cool air-conditioners. Most of the time I go to McDonald with my work; I do it there and some times meet my friends in restaurants. That’s very good, because outside of building it’s very hot; it’s good to stay in cool places while I’m eating. Restaurants play music also, so it makes me more relaxed. But, if they play fast songs customer will eat it faster.
Restaurants also have good chefs. So there is no need to put addition sugar or salt on my food plus restaurants have cleaner food.
Anyway the price in restaurants is very expensive, but I didn’t buy just food I also spend money for comfort.
Anyway we have to save money for other things also support life in other ways; like to go travelling, but it doesn’t mean we should not go to eat at restaurants.

Television is the basic entertaining machine in houses. It transmits useful and unless thing through its screen. It’s used for spreading information about “How the earth is getting on?” It’s exposed media. In Thailand, there are many channels and I can should what I want to watch.
Every channel informs us as part of the mass media. They expose very important news as soon as they get it, and they collect ordinary news to report at the end of everyday. It’s good that they can inform us about news so I don’t need to read it in the newspaper. Especially for children who need to do a lot more activities then reading the boring newspaper!
After doing a lot of work and activities we need to rest by staying at home and watching something that is entertaining. It can be animated cartoons or a game show.
At the present time, cartoons and game shows are combined by knowledge. Sometimes I watch game show about people answering question who are in primary school. Sometimes there is a television program about science experiments and they explain why hoe they get scientific results?
Television is an open media, and we can’t control what children should or shouldn’t watch so children who are innocent may watch something nonsensical, R-rated or X-rated. Those this shows as not good for children but if parents can handle their children that won’t matter.
Anyway, we have to finish all of our homework and set the time to do fun activities.
There is nothing that young people can teach older peopleTammatat Veeramanomi G8
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 11:40:04
I couldn’t agree less about this. Everyone has different talents: cooking, languages, or using new technology. Skills depend on experience. People who do something first will be better than people who begin later.
Children have more to do activities than adults. Our world is progressing everyday and many adults don’t know how to use computers, MP3 players, mobile phones, or another technology that have come out in the last ten years. Children have a strong desire to know about technology, but adults don’t. So, young people can tell them how to use technology for work or for saving energy and time.
Languages also depend on experience. In the present time, children have time to learn languages, but older people have to work all the time. But languages are needed for work, so children can share what they know and give a hand to older people.
Enjoying life is thought to be nonsensical, but for adults, it is very important thing that they don’t have. Teenagers are not as sensitive as older people, they love to enjoy themselves and are not serious about life. Then, teens can help working people to look at problem in positive ways, and remember how to relax and rest their minds.
You can see that there are many things that young people can teach theirs elders. However, the old and the young still need to help and teach each other.

Now there are many problems in Bangkok for teenagers like us. For example, there is too much homework, too many games, and argument with their parents. I think the biggest problem is fighting with others without reason. So in my opinion Bangkok's teenagers would be better if they had child counseling and a place to release their anger.
To begin with I think most teenager want someone that they can trust and turn to. Because of this it leads to big problems, like arguing with their parents because sometimes parents do not understand us. Sometimes they expect too much. As a result, most teenagers need their privacy or boundaries. No one likes their parents or teachers to check their bag or mobile phone everyday or every minute. So if Bangkok had child counseling it would be better as if you have a problem with your friends you can call the center or go to the center. You would be able to do anything in the center: you can shout or talk about your problems and they will not tell your parents or your friends. The effect of this is that teenagers would not argue or fight with their friends because they would have already fixed the problems. Additionally, if you don't want to speak then you can release it in a action way and that's going to be our second topic.
Next, Bangkok should have more entertainment places like: karaoke bars, free beauty treatment, a driving lane for skating, more swimming pools, and gyms. So that teenagers can release their anger or worries without paying money. In fact most teenagers release their anger by meeting their friends and going out together for shopping or relaxing sport. Or do things that use less of money. So that they will not argue with their parents about money.
On the another hand I think if we have everything for teenagers. Then they won't know how to control their feelings, or how to trust their friends and their parents. Also parents won't know how to take care of their children because the city will have already prepared everything for their children and they won't learn how to understand their children.
In conclusion, Bangkok should prepare more entertainment and counseling centers for teenagers to release their anger, but parents should also know how to take care of their children properly because true love comes from parents not shopping mall, the gym, or games

Is our existence harming the earth? We’ve developed so much since our first days on earth. We keep on developing, as if it has no limit. But is our development harming the earth? For example, smoke from cars is damaging the o-zone layer and the waste from factories goes to rivers. There are a lot more examples of the harmful thing in this essay.
Our lifestyle now is all about convenience and what we want. We cut trees to make houses and furniture. Sometimes we cut too much and there are no homes for the animals. In the mountains these trees help lessen the speed of an avalanches and floods. Now we cut most of the trees then there isn’t anything to slow down the avalanche or anything that comes from the mountains. Some animals have to face extinction because of our behavior. We eat animals to fill our stomachs and sometime we eat animals that we don’t usually eat like the Chinese, they eat a lot of weird stuff that’s from animals. Some of our developments are harming the earth too, for example cars; hundreds of years ago we used horses for transportation and there was no pollution at all. Then suddenly a man named Henry Ford started to think of a better way to transport. He began to build cars and as time passed there were more people using cars and more car companies too. Of course cars are more comfortable than horses so we started to use them without knowing that the patrol they use is harms the o-zone layer. Nowadays we have problems with global warming which is mainly caused by the smoke of the cars and the pollution. We keep taking from the earth, things like patrol and soil but we don’t return anything to it. Although we try, but still it’s not enough.
War is another thing that’s harming the earth. Since the first days of humanity we’ve tried to fight with other countries, villages, tribes, and different kinds of people to get their land or their goods. And now we’re using nuclear weapon which is harming ourselves, the land, and the earth. Sometimes we use chemical weapons to fight each other. Some of our products are hard to dispose of, such as a products made from plastic. Plastic bags are causing global warming too.
On the other hand, we help to pre vent the extinction of some kinds of animal. And we also help them breed. Also plastic bag can good for us because they are convenient for us, and cheap!
In conclusion, the evidence shows that our existence is harming the earth. And sometimes we’re helping the earth, so our existence is both good and bad to the earth.

I’m from Thailand and our culture is very different from western countries. I have been to a lot of western countries. The way we greet is different already, so there must be a lot of things that we do in different ways.
I would like Europeans and Americans to adopt our manners. Asians are on their best behavior when they’re with their elders or older people. Which is different from Europeans and Americans, they treat their elders like they’re the same age. Sometime they even use bad words with them. However, it’s hard for Asians to talk or express their opinion to older people, because we respect them and use appropriate words. And they won’t listen to our opinions because they think that we’re in experienced. For Europeans or Americans they can just say what they want and what they think, with no problem. Also I would like them to adopt our kindness because sometimes they won’t help us, even though we asked them to. For example a girl can’t put her bag into the car because it’s too heavy for her, so she asked a man to beside her to help her but he refused to do so. Because he thinks that she can carry it all the way here so why, shouldn’t she do the rest.
Our food is also different from them, they like to eat cheese, bread, milk, and they’ve very big meals, which is different from us. We always eat small meals. The way they eat is different from us too. They use a fork and knife to eat and spoon for soup but we use spoon and fork to eat and knife to cut or cook.
The way we dress is also different; they live in cold countries so their clothes must be thick and warm. Where as we lived in a hot country so our clothes must be thin and light. And we seem to care about what others might think of the way we dress so we try to follow the trend: however, they don’t care what others might think about them. So they dress in whatever they want and they have their own style.
In conclusion, we’re a lot different from each other. Without our culture our country wouldn’t have identity. I really want western to adopt our manners and respect their elders.
The world is being harmed by human activitySang Ho Lee G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 09:43:02
A long time ago, the Earth
had a lot of trees, clean water, fresh air and an ozone layer. But, nowadays
the Earth has air pollution, dirty water, a hole in ozone layer and not as many
trees as in the past. These problems are caused by human activity. For example,
transportation, factories , using a lot of tree, global warming etc.
Air
pollution, dirty water and a hole in ozone layer is caused by factories and
cars. Factories make things we need in our lives but when they are making
things, they use a lot of oils, burn things, and dump their waste. When they
burn toxic things, smoke makes air pollution and has caused hole in the ozone
layer. Using a lot of heavy oils make water dirty because in factories, they
are using heavy oils. When they’re finished, they just throw the waste away
into water, but that waste oil has a lot of dregs so that makes the water
dirty. Also, gas from cars makes air pollution and caused the hole in the ozone
layer because that gas makes oxygen decrease and makes air pollution also the
things are how the Earth is being harmed.
The
natural environment is also an important thing, but human activity destroys the
environment. The first thing is using a lot of trees. We use a lot of trees so
trees are decreasing these days. If we don’t have many trees, that means the
oxygen will decrease because trees change gas from cars or factories to oxygen.
The second thing is making water dirty. People who work in factories, they
throw away toxic waste oil in the water. If the water is dirty, a lot of
creatures in the water will die so food will decrease and dirty water makes the
ground rotten. The last thing is burning waste. People burn their trash, but
this is not good. When we burn things, bad smoke makes global warming. Global
warming makes trees dry and increases water level. These problems happened
because of human activity.
But,
human activity also has good aspects, not only bad. Human activity can make
things we need and make things easy and comfortable for us. For example, in the
past there weren’t any mobile phones of home phones, but now we have mobile
phones and home phones anywhere so we can call easily to anyone. It means human
activity makes people’s lives better. Also, we can find other energy instead of
oil. For example, they make cars that use solar energy of electricity instead
of oil so it can help the Earth
In conclusion, we have to develop human
activity as fast as we can so we can stop the Earth being harmed.

Each country has their own
customs. Some people thinks that they want to adopt customs of other countries
of they want to make other countries adopt their customs. I’m Korean so of
course I’ll write about Korea.
First thing is, I want other countries to
adopt Korea uniform customs. In Korea they don’t need to wear school uniforms
in primary school. Good things are we don’t need to wash students’ uniforms everyday,
we can wear any clothes so it’s comfortable, and it doesn’t cost money. If
students don’t need to wear school uniforms then they don’t need to wait until
their school uniform is dry and they can wear any clothes so they can be more fashionable
or they can be beautiful/ handsome. Second thing is segregated garbage
collection. Most countries don’t segregate garbage collection, but Korea does
it. If we segregate garbage, people who work in garbage cars can easily separate
the garbage and it’s not as dirty as non segregate garbage. Also, the smell is
better than non segregate garbage. So it’s good for people who work in garbage
cars. In Korea, if we don’t segregate garbage, we must pay a fine so we must
segregate garbage in Korea. If we don’t do it, we’re wasting our money. The
last thing is table manners. In Korea, the eldest person is served first and
the eldest of most senior person starts the eating process. Also, you have to
empty your bowl and not point at anyone with your chopsticks. I want other
countries to adopt it because it’s very polite and they respect the eldest of
most senior person. Also, it’s good for the environment because they have to
empty their bowls so they don’t have food to throw away so it helps a little to
protect the environment.
But, I don’t want other countries to adopt
Korean education because in Korea, students’ parents know only universities or
studying so parents like to spend a lot on academies. They don’t have time to
sleep because they come home usually at 1am or 2am. This causes really bad
problems. These problems cause students to kill themselves because they’re too
tired and stressed. If you go to a Korean school, you can see how they study
very hard. Also, the Korean government has changed the study times. First, they
had to close at 1am or 2am, but now they’ve changed it to 24hours! Korean
education is getting worse and worse so I don’t want other countries to adopt
Korean education. It makes people crazy!
In conclusion, all countries have to fix
their bad customs so we can make the world better place.

Most of experts and psychologists
say watching TV is harmful to children. No doubt about it. Because it’s true. However,
in that case is when children are out of control. Not only the children’s’
fault but also their parents’ fault. They should be monitoring them especially
for unsuitable programs. Moreover, there are advantages and disadvantages of
watching TV.
To begin with advantages, TV is an useful
learning tool. TV motivates children to read books and children explore new
thing through TV. It helps children learn about a variety of subjects such as TV
show, movie, and educational DVD. Children are influenced by people they see on
television. In that case, it can be negative but it can be positive, too. Particularly,
if children’s favorite characters make positive choices on the TV shows, there
will be influenced in a good way. In the second place, TV entertains us. Children
usually watch soap operas and game shows which entertains them. Therefore in
view of the advantages of TV, it’s helpful.
In contrast, TV harms our body while it helps
us to be educated.
Children watch TV very closely or
in dark which harms our eyes and make our eyes weaker. Children get fat because
they stay on the tube for too long. It cause obesity and it’s bad. Children
become lazy and not active. They spend more time on watching TV compare to
indoors or outdoor activities. It is more likely to be overweight school work
and their family. To summarise, it’s a disadvantage of TV, at the same time, it’s
a serious problem.
To sum up briefly, TV isn’t harmful to
children unless they can control themselves to stop watching it. Actually, there’s
no disadvantages if children had control themselves, if their parents had
monitor their children.
TV makers and the TV inventor
didn’t invent TV to harm children.
They made it to educate and entertain
us. TV is a window to the world.
Customs from my country that other countries should adoptTae Yong Kim G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 09:36:35
My name is Tae Yong Kim and I’m from south Korea. My country has its own
customs, as other countries have. I’d like people from other countries to adopt
some of Korea’s
customs, because their customs aren’t perfect at all. Anyway I would like
foreigners to adopt respecting the elders, elementary uniforms and fashion,
however, there are things that I would like foreigners to not adopt, like
education, policy and computer games.
Koreans respect elders, just like Thais, but we don’t use hands to
greet, we put our head down 45degrees. We must respect the elders, even if they
are just one year older. And if you don’t respect seniors, you are bound to be
severely punished by seniors. Anyway this be isn’t our custom. Foreigners may
adopt respecting elders, bosses, prevents and teachers. As long as they are
older than you. Elementary uniforms are another issue. Korean elementary
students don’t wear uniforms. They can wear anything to school. They’re just
kids and don’t have to be serious with uniforms, especially when they are elementary.
They the third thing is fashion.
As people know, Korean fashion is beautiful cool and wonderful. Korean
fashion is one of the things that foreigners adopt. So these are things that I
would like foreigners to adopt from my country.
Not surprisingly, there are some things that I don’t want foreigners to
adopt. Korean students and their parents are crazy about education. Their
parents send their children to school, after school, Taekwondo, piano lessons,
guitar lessons, English lessons, Chinese lessons and so on. They pay billions
of won to educate their children and the children are very stressed. In fact,
it’s a waste of money and the one that they get is just drawbacks, no benefits.
So that’s first.
Secondly, Korean policy is
devastated. The president is so garbage, as well as the government. They aren’t
very friendly and egocentric. Like some other countries, Korea’s policies
sucks. Third of all, it’s true that computer games, they won’t get out off
them. All games have levels and ranks. They’ll play until they reach the end of
levels and be the best.
I think that’s why their parents
have become more strict. Therefore I hope foreigners do not adopt these.
In conclusion, each country has
their own customs and these are just my opinions that I would like foreigners
to adopt. Be Korean! :]
The world is being harmed by human activityTae Yong Kim G10
Posted by KCSEP 2009-08-25 09:35:25
The earth is no longer healthy. The earth is being polluted and damaged.
It is because of human activity. We think that human activity has been developing
technology and saving the earth. In fact, human activity is harming the earth. For
example, pollution such as factories that pollute oceans and destroy the ozone
layer, nuclear waste which doesn’t really pollute but provides dangerous energy
for the earth and causes the greenhouse effect.
Therefore there are more disadvantages than advantages of human
activity. Alternative energy such as renewable energy. Hydrogen vehicles and
nuclear fusion energy are good examples of human activity.
Pollution, which means to pollute or to harm. Pollution is one perilous
human which causes global warming. There are lots of human activities that
causes global warming and I picked three of them, they are affects of
factories, pollutants and the greenhouse affect. Most factories secretly dump
raw sewage into the river which means they don’t really realize what’s
happening to the earth and what they are doing. Pollutants are also a perilous
human activity. They normally come from factories which are not clean, but I
hope , maybe, new regulations will help reduce toxic air pollutant. Followed by
pollutants, the greenhouse effect, the gradual warming of the air surrounding
the earth as a result of heat being trapped by pollution. Refrigerants and
greenhouse gas are the main human activities that are causing the depletion of
the ozone layer.
Alternative energy is an which is clean energy. Producing this energy
does not really affect global warming. Renewable energy, hydrogen vehicles and
nuclear fusion energy might be examples of alternative energy. We use renewable
energy to reuse nature unlike finite resources such as oil. People believe that
car exhausts are the main reason for the city’s pollution and it is right.
So therefore , developing a hydrogen vehicle would benefit the
environment. Nuclear fusion energy is a relatively clean, but dangerous energy
source that can be harm people, not only the earth.
In contrast, human activities make people comfortable. Transportation,
even though exhaust from them are harmful, as long as it is comfortable then it’s
good. Plastic bags’ benefit is that they are cheap compared to normal bags. These
reasons make people more reckless about what they are doing.
In conclusion, we need to develop more harmless products instead of
making convenient and harmful products. Sustainable development can work and
planting is the easiest thing and most helpful activity that we can do for our
earth. In research of Korean world news, world leaders pledged to pursue sustainable
development. I hope they’ll really keep their pledge because global warming
will have devastating effects.

Animal Farm is a story about animals who loathe their farmer. One day
the leader of the animals, the leader pig died. The leader pig wanted the
animals’ freedom and under his last word, the animals attacked the farmer and
successed to occupy his farm.
They elected a new leader, Snowbell. Snowbell started to govern the farm
and it was laudable. The old farmer brought his friends to the farm to get back
the farm several times but always failed. One day, a dog died in battle and it
had puppies. An acquisitive pig called, Napoleon, found the puppies and
cultivates them as clandestine soldiers.
After a few days, when Napoleon’s soldiers were strong enough, he kill
Snowbell and becomes the new leader. He changes all the rules that Snowbell
made which were fair to all animals. Just because of Napoleon’s mutiny, there
was no political clout for the others. By that time some animals had died and
some were dying. So they led a mutiny against Napoleon at night. Napoleon
shouted for help but the soldiers couldn’t hear. So peace came after Napoleon’s
death.
My favourite part was when Snowbell ruled the farm, he was the best
leader I think. I didn’t like Napoleon, of course because he mutinied and
killed Snowbell. I really didn’t like the part when Snowbell was killed. In my
opinion, I really loved this story. It’s a really good story, it’s a laudable
story. This is what humans do, I hope the president of Korea, the leaders of each
countries are like Snowbell !!
TV is harmful to childrenBora Lee G10

The world has developed a lot and among the developments, television
has had a great impact on society, especially the younger generation. In modern
days, children have become prisoners of television. They watch TV more than an
hour a day and furthermore, their minds travel inside the TV, into virtual
reality during their ‘TV-time’. Additionally, watching TV since one is young
and not mature enough may cause side effects, such as televisionholic,
personality disorder and psychological problems. Television is a necessity in
our lives but on the other hand it’s become harmful for children.
TVs bring various bad effects
upon children. One of those is that children can easily be addicted to TV.
Firstly, TVs are a basic electrical home appliance. To put it more simply, TVs
are always near children. So, they can watch TV anytime and for as long as they
want. Because of this, TV is like a God to kids. They normally watch TV almost every
day and just accept everything from it, directly without thought. When people
watch TV, their brains work less than usual as they aren’t thinking or using
their imagination. Therefore, children become absent-minded and watch TV
uncritically. Also, children lack distinguishing ability and critical ability.
When there are programs that aren’t suitable for kids or some programs with
subjective topics, children just watch them. They don’t know if the programs
are good to watch or not and they think that the information, from TV, is
right. Thus, TVs can be some kind of a psychological drug to children and make
them waste their time.
Apart from the TV addiction, psychological
effects are another problem. One of the psychological effects is exposure to
violence. After watching many violent scenes, children try to follow the
violent actions and start to show aggressive behavior, as all children tend to
imitate what they have seen. The worst thing is that, when children show
violent behavior, they don’t know what their actions mean and whether they are
bad or not. In other words, children can lose their ability to distinguish the
real world and virtual reality. In this case, they might develop hyperactivity,
lack of impulse control and many more problems. Moreover TV harms children’s
health and their habits. TV can cause eye problems, like eye strain of poor
eyesight. Their eyes get tired if they keep watching TV for a long time, and
get weaker eyesight if they watch TV too closely to it. Additionally, when
children start to sit down and watch TV, they try not to move and tend to eat
things, which result in gaining weight. They can also have problems in their
schedules and habits. TV can cause children to stay up late at night. So they
can have irregular sleeping habits and might affect their school performance.
Even though there are
negative effects, TV is a useful mass media for children. Firstly, it can
provide educational programs such as Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, CNN, EBS
(a Korean educational channel), and a lot more. Children can also learn how to
speak other languages by watching movies. Secondly, TV can be a friend. When
children are alone or don’t have anything special to do, they can simply watch
TV! It can make them laugh of at least make them feel better. Lastly, TV
delivers information to us. It shares information, news and the latest issues
with us. Then we can understand what is going on in the world.
To summarize, although TV has
advantages, it also harms kids psychologically and physiologically. Watching TV
since youth could change a children’s future. So, children must watch TV less than
usual and if possible, they should watch with their parents. And for parents,
they should keep their eye on their kids all the time and limit the number of
hours their children are watching TV to prevent them from harmful effects.

Customs from my country that other countries should adoptBora Lee G10

Although I’m Korean I was born in Thailand and have lived here in
Thailand all my life. So, I would like to introduce a Thai custom to other
countries for them to adopt. There are lots and lots of customs in Thailand.
Most of them are related to respect and Buddhism, since Thailand is the country
of Buddhism. Among all, I suggest ‘Songkran’ festival to be adopted by other
countries and be widely-celebrated.
The Songkran festival is considered
Thailand’s New Year. It is celebrated every year from April 13th to
April 14th, which falls at the hottest time of the year in Thailand,
at the end of the dry season. It is a tradition for Thais to celebrate Songkran
by playing with water and splashing water on others. Over the past years, lots
of foreigners have visited Thailand and enjoyed this festival, and now people
from all over the world love to attend the festival in Thailand.
As Thais know, Songkran is
one of the most awaited festivals because it has all the fun! And during the
festival the day passes by being full of joy and excitement. Just leaving the
house or walking on the streets makes people’s heart beat faster. Preparing a
water bucket, a squirt gun of a garden hose can make people get even more excited!
This is kind of a game. You have a “weapon” called a water gun (or whatever)
and you have a “bullet” called water. Either you hesitate to not get splashed
of you start drenching your enemies, the “weapon holders” and passersby. The
good things are, you get to have fun and unless you play it dangerously, you
never die. Isn’t it a captivating festival?
Songkran is also a great
opportunity for individuals to gather. During the festival, people will group
with friends, family and strangers. Then they will start playing with water, at
the same time, smiling and laughing. Although some are strangers you step up,
give them a big smile and ‘peek-a-boo!’ splash a bucket of water. Regardless of
Songkran being adopted by any countries, it will definitely be welcomed and
celebrated. Another fact about Songkran festival is that, it is very
refreshing. We feel even more refreshed because it is held during the hottest time
of the year in April. In hot and humid weather, water can make you feel cool
and more energetic. It washes out your sweat and your wet shirt can keep you
refreshed. In addition, pouring a little water on others (especially to elders)
is a way of showing respect. It is also believed that water expels bad spirits
and bad luck from our body. Therefore, splashing and pouring water on others
have more meaning that just having fun. It is also a society occasion for
everyone to meet and party.
Even though there are good
things about Songkran festival, there are issues that cause danger of
disadvantages to people. For instance, alcohol is a major problem. As the
festival is on the New Year, celebrations don’t exclude alcohol. Moreover,
people tend to drive after drinking, which causes many serious accidents and
every year people lose their lives. Throwing water on motorcycles is another
problem. People are so overjoyed that they splash a large amount of water on
motorcycles. Drenching water on drivers’ upper part of the body of on the
helmet may cause the motorcycle to slide or make it for the driver hard to see
the front. Wasting water is an additional problem for the country. Many people
use garden hoses to spray on running vehicles. They turn on the faucet most of
the time and they don’t even know that they are wasting water. Songkran revelers
should have a squirt gun of a small water bucket to lessen the wastage. If
Songkran is adopted by other countries, they should have certain rules to
prevent accidents and wastage.
In conclusion, Songkran is a
festival worthy to be adopted by other countries and to be widely celebrated. I
guarantee that people in the ‘Songkran Fes.-adopted-country’ will definitely
enjoy the water splashing festival. When it is adopted, the country can change
the festival period according to the hottest time of the year in their country,
so that people can feel the refreshness. Anyway, Songkran will be a great
festival if it becomes a universal festival and holiday.

Now our world keeps developing. So in my opinion scientists are very
successful because our world keeps on changing to a new technology
world and skill that scientists need are technology skills, computer
skills and intelligence.
Firstly we need
technology or computer skills because now our world keeps changing and
changing to a new technology world. Most of things that we see and use
are technology.S develop somethings or make somethings we have to know
technology and computer skills. Even if you're going to invent a light
bulbs you still have to know technology skills because can't be use
without technology.
Secondly, you also must
have intelligence, you can't invent things without studying
and practice but you still can't also try and design without knowledge
and intelligencce. To be very successful you must have intelligence
because every job you need to have intelligence.
Thirdly,
scientists are not good if they are not think of effects and causes of
the things they invent.Like Albert , he invented the nuclear technology
that was his very famous thing but who know knew that the army was
going to use it in the wrong way!!
In
conclusion, to be successful you don't have to be a scientist, it is
depends on yourself. What you like is always successful, but
you shouldn't bring sadness to other people. The things that you do you
should think of cause and effect first.
